Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide health education to learners and parents about the importance of immunizations.
  • Conduct health assessments of learners according to relevant policies and guidelines.
  • Manage and safeguard all relevant health records, including consent forms where possible.
  • Apply procedural nursing sequences regarding the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, evaluation, and control of communicable and non-communicable diseases.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in General Nursing (NQF level 6), with Midwifery and Community Health Services/Psychiatric an added advantage.
  • 3 years' post-registration as a Professional Nurse.
  • Basic knowledge of interpersonal relations and customer relations.
