About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motor Assessing Costing Specialist to join our team at Sanlam. As a key member of our Claims Processing team, you will be responsible for conducting final repair calculations, processing payments, and ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct final repair calculations, including labour rates, discounts, and utilization of repair panels
  • Process payments and ensure timely authorization of repairs via Audatex
  • Control additional repair methods and ensure assessors are aware of these requests
  • Authorize Final Repair Calculation Requests (FRCRs) on Audatex
  • Broker/Branch FRCQA Audits to ensure correctness of FRCA
  • Identify trends and provide recommendations for continuous process improvement
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and protocol
  • Ensure all precautionary measures are taken to mitigate risk of customer dissatisfaction
  • Adhere to timelines and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Liaise with repairers, suppliers, and service providers to ensure relevant feedback
  • Assist with MBR complaints and queries
Requirements
  • 2 years' experience in Motor Claims end-to-end process
  • Matric (NQF 4)
  • Audatex Experience
  • Final Repair Calculation experience
  • Processing payments
  • TIA / MIA
  • Motor assessing systems knowledge
  • Detail-oriented
  • Knowledge of TIA/MIA
