We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior Workshop and Service Technician to join our team in Durban. As a key member of our service and sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their vacuum pumps are repaired and serviced efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vacuum pumps and electrical motors
  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnose issues with pumps and motors
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to resolve customer issues
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication
  • Work collaboratively with the service and sales team to achieve business objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

  • Minimum Grade 12 or N6 and preferably a trade as Millwright or Fitter & Turner
  • At least 35 years of experience working in a service workshop
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work accurately with numbers and information
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills
