Job Title : Business Operations Director

  • The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee and direct business operations, providing strategic guidance to achieve the company's financial vision, mission, and long-term goals.
  • This position involves driving business development, including researching and implementing new initiatives to boost revenue, reduce operating costs, while maintaining quality products that are competitive, and delivering excellent customer support.
  • Ensure all relevant stakeholders are informed of developments aligning with the company's objectives.
  • Lead employees in a strategic direction to accomplish its mission.
  • Maintain close relationships with stakeholders, including cluster heads, employees, clients, key decision-makers, and external service providers.
  • Manage resources, encompassing talent attraction, hiring, and retention.
  • Implement an effective marketing strategy to maintain market relevance and promote products and services to increase sales within the area of responsibility.
  • Oversee and manage key personnel, clients, and service providers.
  • Develop a team of multi-skilled individuals by setting clear expectations, empowering, mentoring, fostering a positive work environment, ensuring continuous improvement, and aligning performance with business goals and leadership values.
  • Participate in budgeting, align individual targets with national objectives, monitor project progress within budget and timelines, and ensure efficient management of associated budgets.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, entrepreneurial mindset, and business acumen, effectively managing complexity, driving high performance, providing direction, fostering innovation, and building trust.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manages people, sets direction, and deploys resources.
  • Responsible for performance evaluation and remuneration decisions.
  • Results primarily achieved through the work of others and depend on the ability to influence and negotiate with parts of an organization where formal authority is not held.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or B.Tech, Professionally qualified, and Post-Grad Management courses.
  • Established business management track-record and experience in a complex business/commercial environment.
  • Proven ability to develop business strategy and objectives.
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
  • Excellent judgment and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills up to C-Level.

Salary Range: R1,200,000 - R1,800,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
