Job Overview

The successful candidate will work closely with pharmacists to ensure that patient needs are met efficiently and effectively. This will involve assisting with the sale of Schedule 1 and Schedule 2 medicines or scheduled substances, compounding and preparing non-sterile medicines or scheduled substances according to approved standard operating procedures, and re-packaging of medicine.

In addition, the Pharmaceutical Care Specialist will assist with the distribution and control of stock, ordering of medicine, reading and preparation of prescriptions, and capturing script details accurately. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

  • Strong command of the English language and a second language
