About Us: Crew Life at Sea is committed to providing exceptional experiences for our passengers. Our culinary team plays a vital role in delivering this experience, and we are seeking a highly experienced Food Service Director to lead our galley operations.
Job Description: The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a managerial role in a high-volume, fine dining establishment. They will possess a strong understanding of food and beverage cost control, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of kitchen staff to deliver exceptional food and service to our passengers.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the galley.
- Maintain inventory levels and place orders for necessary supplies.
- Work closely with the Executive Chef to develop menus and ensure high-quality food and service.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a managerial role in a high-volume, fine dining establishment.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of food and beverage cost control.
