About Us: Crew Life at Sea is committed to providing exceptional experiences for our passengers. Our culinary team plays a vital role in delivering this experience, and we are seeking a highly experienced Food Service Director to lead our galley operations.

Job Description: The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a managerial role in a high-volume, fine dining establishment. They will possess a strong understanding of food and beverage cost control, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of kitchen staff to deliver exceptional food and service to our passengers.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the galley.
  • Maintain inventory levels and place orders for necessary supplies.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to develop menus and ensure high-quality food and service.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a managerial role in a high-volume, fine dining establishment.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage cost control.
