  • About the Role: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Nursing Practitioner to join our team in Rosebank as a Primary Health Care Clinic Sister. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and operating a profitable primary health care clinic situated within a pharmacy, ensuring excellent patient care and service delivery.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the primary health care clinic, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient satisfaction and engagement, including managing the clinic's foot traffic and setting objectives to improve patient outcomes.
    • Ensure all clinic services are available and accessible to patients, including maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with patients and stakeholders.
    • Process claims and manage stock and equipment in the clinic, ensuring they are in good working condition and sufficient to meet business needs.
    • Build and maintain healthy relationships with patients, colleagues, medical aids, suppliers, and key community stakeholders.
  • Essential Requirements:
    • Grade 12 Matric qualification and a tertiary qualification in General Nursing.
    • Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) and a nursing practitioner with BHF registration.
    • 2-3 years of experience in practicing as a primary health care clinic sister.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong command of English.
    • Ability to manage a team and self, with strong time management and analytical skills.
  • Desirable Requirements:
    • Bilingual or multilingual.
    • Knowledge and understanding of business objectives and financial implications.
    • Specialized courses in areas such as baby immunization, family planning, and disease management.
