Group Tax Manager

Vivo Energy is seeking a highly skilled Group Tax Manager to join their team. As a key member of the group tax team, you will work closely with the Head of Tax and a second Tax Manager to execute Vivo Energy's global tax strategy across the markets the company operates in.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Numbers (~30%):
    • Drive the tax accounting process, including training team members in local markets and managing relationships with group auditors;
    • Prepare internal tax forecasts;
    • Prepare tax returns for holding companies with the support of tax advisors;
    • Prepare compliance-related reports such as country-by-country reports, hybrid mismatch reports, etc.
  • Transfer Pricing (~30%):
    • Prepare transfer pricing documentation for operating entities, with support from tax advisors;
    • Oversee and monitor compliance with transfer pricing policies;
    • Advise various stakeholders on transfer pricing-related matters;
  • Management (~20%):
    • Liaise with local team members to ensure compliance with local tax requirements;
    • Monitor tax receivable/payables/tax cash outflows;
    • Ensure business decisions are taken in compliance with tax requirements;
    • Provide support with local tax audits;
  • Projects (~20%):
    • Advise internal stakeholders on tax-related matters;
    • Ensure tax-compliant implementation of various projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent;
  • 5+ years of experience in tax;
  • Basic accounting knowledge required;
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal) required;
  • Eager to take on projects outside your comfort zone;
  • Analytical, proactive, and attention to detail.
