Job Title: Logistics Operations Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Coordinator to join our team at Michelle Cloete Consulting Pty Ltd. As a key member of our logistics operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth distribution of goods to external customers.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will require:
  • A diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Proven 1-3 years supervisory experience in a food manufacturing distribution or warehouse environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused approach. Key responsibilities include:
  • Supervising the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods in accordance with company policies and safety standards.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all finished goods transactions, including stock receipts, transfers, and dispatches.
  • Monitoring stock levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
  • Conducting regular stock takes and ensuring that discrepancies are investigated.

Requirements
This is a full-time position, and the ideal candidate will be required to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. A forklift license is preferred but not essential. The salary for this position is estimated to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
