Job Overview

At Job Crystal, we are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team in Kwazulu-Natal. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our facilities.

You will work closely with our engineering and maintenance teams to ensure that all machinery is compliant with occupational health and safety legislation. This includes implementing a planned maintenance program and maintaining statutory machinery records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Manage relationships with external contractors and service providers to ensure timely and effective support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and drive process enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, including those related to health and safety.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Government Certificate of Competency.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Senior Facilities Manager in a healthcare or manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience in steam generation and oil-fired boiler operation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
