Estimator Role Overview

Abantu Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Estimator to support our client in the Construction and Civil Engineering Industry. The successful candidate will work closely with the estimating team to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
  • Assist with tender submissions and package RFQs.
  • Compile comprehensive BOQs from drawings and measurements.
  • Attend site clarification meetings and provide feedback to senior management.
  • Build relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing.
Requirements
  • Grade 12/Matric qualification.
  • 2+ years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong Excel and Word skills.

  • Good decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and focus on deliverables.
