Job Summary:

The Fitness Professional will be responsible for delivering an exceptional fitness experience to members, ensuring a high-quality service at all times. This role requires a professional demeanor and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct group fitness classes, promoting a safe and engaging environment for participants.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to member inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Attend scheduled training sessions and meetings to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
  • Stay informed about company communication and policy updates, ensuring compliance with all relevant procedures.
  • Achieve sales targets by collecting outstanding payments, accurately processing transactions, and maintaining a secure and organized workspace.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols, as well as club operating procedures, to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Minimize facility downtime by effectively managing equipment and resources.
  • Deliver outstanding service to members and visitors, adhering to established standards and procedures.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in the fitness industry, preferably with a focus on group fitness instruction.
  • Knowledge of fitness principles and physical training methods.
  • First aid certification.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Internet, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to balance work and personal commitments, making quick yet informed decisions when necessary.
  • Capacity to welcome new members and convert interested leads into new members.
  • Commercial awareness and business acumen.
  • Friendly, energetic, and outgoing personality.
  • Initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
