Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute innovative pastry menus that showcase exceptional culinary skills and creativity.
* Lead and mentor a high-performing pastry team, fostering a culture of excellence, quality, and safety.
* Oversee daily pastry operations, ensuring seamless production, plating, and presentation of high-quality desserts, pastries, and bread.
* Collaborate with the culinary team to integrate pastry items into the overall dining experience, driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
* Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients and supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
* Maintain strict adherence to hygiene and sanitation regulations, upholding the highest standards of food safety and quality.
* Stay ahead of industry trends and introduce new pastry techniques and trends to enhance the menu and drive business growth.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role, with a minimum of 3 years in a high-end or 5-star establishment.
* Culinary degree or equivalent certification in pastry arts preferred.
* Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking, and dessert presentation.
* Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire the pastry team.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
* Creative flair with attention to detail and a passion for culinary excellence.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
