About the Role:

Cape Union Mart International Ltd is seeking an experienced Retail Sales and Visual Merchandising Expert to join their team. As a key member of the sales floor, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional customer experience by providing excellent service, meeting individual targets, and driving sales through effective visual merchandising.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exceed customer expectations by practicing customer selling techniques and consistently meeting individual targets.
  • Maximize and drive sales by identifying opportunities to increase turnover and establishing professional relationships with customers.
  • Provide friendly, helpful, courteous assistance and advice to all customers, reporting compliments and complaints to management.
  • Process all purchases, verify payments, and adhere to stock loss controls in store.
  • Attend to customer stock queries, ensure they are dealt with and resolved, and maintain high levels of housekeeping and office organization.

Requirements:

  • Maturic or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 12 months of retail experience, preferably in visual merchandising.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft computer applications.
  • Knowledge of current fashion trends or outdoor lifestyle (depending on the brand applying for).
