Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and purchase raw materials, components, and equipment required for production, ensuring that all purchases align with quality standards, lead times, and cost objectives.

  • Identify new suppliers, negotiate pricing, and manage procurement contracts.

  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and quality, monitoring supplier performance and resolving any delivery or quality issues.

  • Work closely with the Purchasing Manager to develop and maintain supplier agreements.

  • Monitor stock levels and place orders in line with production demands, ensuring the timely delivery of goods to prevent production delays.

  • Track and report on procurement metrics, including cost savings and supplier performance.

  • Ensure that all purchasing activities comply with company policies and industry regulations, assisting with streamlining procurement processes to improve efficiency and cost control.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including production and finance, to optimize procurement operations.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.

  • 3 or more years of experience in a buying or procurement role, preferably in manufacturing.

  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

  • Experience working with ERP systems and procurement software.

  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.
