We are seeking a Regulatory Manager to join our team in Cape Town. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for leading and directing our office for your area of responsibility. Your primary duties will include managing stakeholders, ensuring compliance with products/services within your area, implementing technical regulations, participating in national, regional, and international forums, and facilitating accreditation of your area (quality management).
Key Requirements:
A National Diploma in Food Technology or equivalent in the relevant food sciences is required, as well as 8 years' experience in the field. You should possess in-depth knowledge of technical regulations related to your area, including compulsory specifications, the NRCS act, and regional, national, and international treaties, trade protocols, and mutual acceptance arrangements. Strong communication skills, leadership ability, and analytical thinking are essential for success in this role.
