Process and Formulation Lead - FMCG

RPO Recruitment is partnering with a leading FMCG company to find a skilled Process and Formulation Lead. Our client is committed to delivering high-quality products and seeks an experienced individual to lead process development and formulation activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead process development and optimization for new and existing products, ensuring efficiency and quality.
  • Formulate and test new products based on customer requirements and market trends, leveraging expertise in formulation techniques and process optimization.
  • Oversee scale-up and transfer of formulations to production, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruptions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for product development, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
  • Monitor production processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency, implementing changes to drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in formulation and process technology, applying knowledge to drive innovation and excellence.
  • Provide technical support and training to production teams, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, maintaining a culture of excellence and accountability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong foundation in formulation techniques and process optimization.
  • Prior experience (5+ years) in process development and formulation in the FMCG industry, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong knowledge of formulation techniques and process optimization, with experience in product scale-up and transfer to production.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and drive results.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of safety, quality, and regulatory standards, with experience in ensuring compliance and maintaining a culture of excellence.
  • Experience with formulation software and tools is a plus, but not required.
