Critical Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, select, and implement cloud solutions that align with our business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure.
  • Monitor performance, security, and scalability of cloud services.
Vendor Relationship Management

You will develop and maintain successful relationships with our vendor network, negotiating contracts, service-level agreements (SLAs), and pricing terms.

Vendor Onboarding and Offboarding
  • Lead the onboarding process for new vendors.
  • Facilitate smooth transitions during vendor offboarding.
Cost Optimization and Budget Management
  • Analyze vendor costs and identify opportunities for savings.
  • Create and manage budgets related to cloud solutions and vendor services.
Risk Mitigation and Compliance
  • Assess vendor risks and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in cloud solutions architecture, implementation, and management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
Essential Qualification - NQF level
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Certifications in cloud technologies are a plus.
Minimum Experience Level

10+ years IT experience as a vendor manager and experience of working on cloud platforms.

Estimated Salary

R1 300 000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
