The role of an IT Specialist for Laboratories is crucial in supporting our laboratories with LIMS systems, ensuring their proper functionality and continuous improvement. Chemistry and/or laboratory experience is essential for this position.

We are looking for a highly skilled individual to fill the role of Technical IT Lead - Laboratory Systems. This person will be responsible for implementing and managing laboratory information management systems (LIMS) across various locations, providing technical support and training to staff members. A strong background in chemistry and/or laboratory science is necessary for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementing and configuring LIMS systems for new and existing sites
  • Developing standard operating procedures for LIMS use and troubleshooting
  • Ensuring real-time synchronization between LIMS and laboratory instruments
  • Providing technical support and training to laboratory staff
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in laboratory software implementation and management
  • Strong knowledge of SQL databases and query language
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
