**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Retail Operations Manager to lead the operations of our retail store in Cape Town, South Africa.

**About the Role**

  • The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the store, including staff management, inventory control, visual merchandising, and customer satisfaction.
  • This role requires strong leadership and team management skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar role and be proficient in retail management software and point-of-sale (POS) systems.

**Responsibilities**

Leadership and Management
  • Hire, train, and manage store staff to ensure they meet sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Create work schedules to ensure the store is properly staffed and manage employee performance.
  • Lead and motivate the team to meet sales targets and improve overall store performance.
Store Operations
  • Ensure customers have a great shopping experience by maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
  • Handle customer complaints and solve issues quickly, escalating to senior management if necessary.
  • Monitor sales performance and suggest improvements to increase foot traffic and customer loyalty.
Inventory and Finance
  • Manage stock levels and reduce product loss by implementing effective inventory control procedures.
  • Ensure accurate handling of cash, payments, and store finances, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Work within budget limits to achieve financial goals and contribute to the success of the store.

**What We Offer**

  • A competitive salary range of R450,000 - R600,000 per annum, depending on experience.
