Purpose of the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities are clean, well-organized, and meet the highest standards of health and safety. This will involve:

  • Maintaining all facilities by keeping the company premises clean and well-organized
  • Monitoring cleaning materials stored in their area
  • Performing various surface tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and spot-cleaning carpets of all office areas and non-production employee lounge
  • Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms daily for the whole facility
  • Cleaning windows in boardrooms, training rooms, and meeting rooms, management offices, etc.
  • Performing dusting, disinfecting, and polishing of surfaces and furniture as needed
  • Stocking kitchen and bathrooms with supplies needed
  • Reporting repairs and replacements encountered when executing daily tasks
  • Refilling Sanitizer units
  • Checking cleaning supplies monthly and informing Manager when to order stock running low
  • Packing away groceries and cleaning product once stock has arrived
  • Issuing Production and Warehouse with the necessary toiletries needed

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Matric as minimum requirement
  • Proven experience in similar roles and industry
  • Compliance of Occupational Safety and Health Administration chemical safety standards
