About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Director to join our team at Unique Personnel Ltd. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to ensure the company's financial health and growth.

  • Financial Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, developing strategies to minimize their impact on the business.

  • Capital Deployment and Investment Management: Analyze investment opportunities, make informed decisions regarding capital allocation, and monitor the performance of investments.

  • Staff Management: Oversee and direct the activities of financial analysts, budget analysts, and other finance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary resources and training to excel in their roles.

  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with executive management, colleagues, and external stakeholders to provide financial expertise, insights, and recommendations that inform strategic business decisions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in a similar industry or sector.

  • Strong Financial Acumen: Excellent understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams, as well as build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think critically, analyze complex financial data, and develop actionable recommendations that drive business growth and improvement.

  • Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: Effective communicator with exceptional presentation skills, able to articulate financial information and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
