Product Innovation Specialist

RPO Recruitment is partnering with a leading food manufacturing company to find a skilled Product Developer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and play a key role in developing innovative food products that meet consumer demands.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing new food products from concept to commercialization, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
- Conducting market research to identify consumer needs and preferences, staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitor products.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including research and development, production, and marketing, to drive product innovation and growth.
- Formulating and refining product recipes and specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards.
- Conducting sensory evaluations to ensure product quality and taste, making data-driven decisions to improve products.
- Monitoring industry trends and competitor products to stay ahead of the market, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Participating in product and packaging trials, ensuring products meet quality and safety standards.
- Creating and maintaining documentation for product specifications and manufacturing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, or related field, with a strong foundation in food product development processes and food science principles.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Developer in the food manufacturing industry, with a proven track record of developing successful products.
- Strong knowledge of food product development processes, food science principles, and industry regulations.
- Experience in recipe formulation and refinement, with a focus on creating innovative and delicious products.
- Excellent sensory evaluation skills, with the ability to identify and describe product characteristics.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards, with a focus on ensuring compliance and quality.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Good communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with a focus on using tools to drive productivity and efficiency.
