Job Title: Store Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our retail store team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding and overseeing the store's day-to-day activities, aiming to surpass store targets, foster innovative initiatives, and elevate customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Development: Spearhead store team development by identifying training and coaching needs, emphasizing talent management and succession planning.
- Recruitment and Performance Management: Recruit, administer, and manage performance in alignment with company policies and procedures.
- Customer Experience: Implement customer experience processes to ensure adherence to policies and procedures, encompassing business instruction letters, markdowns, repricing, promotions, visual standards, customer feedback, and general housekeeping.
- Compliance: Enforce overall compliance by conducting thorough compliance checks through defined processes.
- Sales and Brand Awareness: Explore and propose new opportunities to boost sales and enhance brand awareness.
- Product Performance: Provide feedback on in-store product performance to the support centre, contributing to sales improvement.
- Operational Planning: Collaborate with management on operational action plans, sales performance increase, and store expenditure monitoring based on sales and profitability reports.
- Stock Management: Authorize write-offs, breakages, recalls, and returns, ensuring effective stock management.
- Stockroom Maintenance: Maintain the stockroom's overall upkeep to meet housekeeping standards.
- Inventory Management: Manage stock levels through defined processes to mitigate risks and ensure adequate stock on hand.
- Receiving and Replenishment: Accurately receive unpack merchandise and replenish the sales floor to drive sales objectives.
- Store Performance: Lead and drive the store team to achieve store KPIs and operational strategy, aligning with company values.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Store Management role.
