Applications are invited for the above-mentioned position. The individual will report to the Managing Director.

**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**: The Office Manager will be responsible to provide an administrative support to the office of the Managing Director. The position effectively performs and manages / oversees a range of administration related operational activities, to ensure that the overall smoot running of the office is consistently maintained.

**Key Responsibility Areas: -**
- Maintaining an efficient filing system in respect of records, contracts, as well as ad hoc support to the Managing Director.
- Ensuring day to day office facilities, security, and waste management run efficiently, queries and tasks are managed timeously and effectively.
- Maintaining the service contracts and preferred suppliers list for all equipment / suppliers.
- Procuring and maintaining all general office related and pantry requirements adhering to policy.
- Managing the cleaning services.
- Managing the health and safety protocols for the office, i.e., maintaining and updating office health and safety guidelines, risks assessments, organise training, fire evacuations procedures, etc.
- Ensuring that proper administration support processes are in place and effectively managed.
- Managing all building and office communication to staff.
- Participating in and managing ad hoc projects from time to time.
- Managing all aspects of local and international travel for Exco members in accordance with policy and processes using the online booking platforms.
- Making logístical arrangements for visitors as required.
- Providing high level support to the Exco members.
- Coordinating various internal events, celebrations, arranging all logistics to achieve a successful event, this includes catering, sourcing gifts, etc.
- A minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience as an Office Manager.
- Proven local and international travel booking experience.
- Highly proficient on MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Comfortable learning new systems and have a good understanding of IT support knowledge.
- Energy and enthusiasm in all interactions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, juggling multiple tasks, and conflicting team demands.
- Have good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with providers and staff.
- A team player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues to obtain the best results.
- Professional working manner and great work ethic.
- Adaptable with good administration skills and a “can do” attitude.

**Qualifications: -**
- A minimum of Grade 12.
- A relevant certificate or diploma in Secretarial or Business Administration qualification will be advantageous.
