**DISPATCH SUPERVISOR**

**Overview**:To ensure that all dispatch operations are executed seamlessly and efficiently, providing customers with an exceptional level of service.

**Duties**:
Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the order preparation team and ensuring that all orders are processed and dispatched in a timely and efficient manner.

Creating and maintaining dispatching plan schedules.

Ensuring that all goods and materials are available when needed prior dispatch plan dates.

Updating the dispatch plan as needed to reflect changes in demand or other factors.

Liaising with other departments within the company to ensure that orders are fulfilled and delivered to customers as required.

Responsible for stock and ensuring that all products are dispatched in accordance with customer demand.

Improve the efficiency of the order preparation team and reduce costs where possible.

Maintain accurate records (Picking Slips, Serial Numbers, Transfers, Delivery Note, of all orders processed, and dispatched as well as any issues or delays that may have occurred.

Report regularly to senior management on the performance of the dispatch team and make recommendations for improvement where necessary.

Ensuring that all members of the dispatch team are properly trained.

Resolve any issues or queries that may arise from customers or other departments within the company in relation to orders being processed or dispatched.

Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.

Oversee the transportation and tracking of all dispatched goods and materials.

Ensure the maintenance of vehicles and equipment used for transportation.

Conducting with stock counts (cycle, quarterly, annual, Adhoc.)

Final inspection of finished goods before loading

Operation of the forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack and count merchandise.

**Qualifications / Requirements**:
Grade 12 or equivalent

**Valid drivers’ license**

**Valid Forklift License and experience driving**

Physical ability to lift and carry items weighing +/- 40kg.

Working knowledge in MS Office or similar computer software systems.

Good communication skills.

Availability to work outside working hours (i.e.: Overtime, weekends, public holidays)

Own reliable transport

Residing in Pretoria

**Remuneration**:
R12k to 15k plus benefits
