**Minimum requirements for the role**:

- Previous experience having worked within the Packaging industry selling into the Food and Beverage and other manufacturing markets.
- Must have strong new business development experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and presentation skills as well as outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities is essential.
- Achieving and exceeding the annual agreed Sales turnover in order to achieve maximum profit with regards to individual sales versus actual sales achieved.
- Completing monthly Sales forecasts versus actual sales achieved.
- Identifying and managing new market and conversion opportunities as well as improving and expanding the current customer base.
- Developing and managing a market intelligence system to ensure a detailed knowledge of competitors and product trends is maintained.
- Managing good working relationships with customers to ensure a thorough understanding of their needs and business is obtained.
- Managing price guidelines and ensuring they are continuously maintained.
- Liaising with current and potential customers with regards to price and product information as required.
- Overseeing new product development as well as negotiating product specifications as required.
- Managing Debtors days to ensure that all debt is being controlled as well as overseeing the signing off of customer deals and Credit Notes as required.
