**Job Title**: Junior Project Manager

**Reporting**: Project Manager

**Summary**:
The Junior project manager will form part of the development team and work with the project manager on various projects. This is an opportunity for a fresh, young mind to learn more advanced principles of project management. The junior project manager may be in charge of overseeing tasks, following up with appropriate parties, and double-checking official reports as well as planning, organising and directing operations. The junior project manager is expected to assist the project manager in whatever way needed. They may be asked to take on a larger role during one-off events or in an emergency.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Work with the project manager and provide assistance whenever needed
- Assisting with design co-ordination
- Assisting with construction co-ordination
- Using project management principles to oversee productivity
- Budget analysis
- Project time line analysis
- Meeting with clients and ask questions to clarify goals
- Preparing progress reports for the project manager
- Attending status meetings and updating team members about potential project delays
- Directing employees as needed and answering questions about their expectations
- Quality control and check sites to ensure they are running as planned
- Land research and acquisitions
- Town planning submissions and assisting all aspects in getting approvals
- Helping the team wherever the team needs assistance

**Requirements**:

- At least 2 years of experience in a project coordinator or planner role in residential construction
- 3 years Honours degree or equivalent degree/experience in residential construction
- Basic understanding of project management principles and construction
- Ability to work with employees from different departments
- Ability to follow instructions and take constructive criticism
- General knowledge of project management software
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent math skills
- Excellent communication skills (fluent English)
- Excellent team work
- Town planning submissions and assisting all aspects in getting approvals
- Helping the team wherever the team needs assistance

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Woodmead, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
