Our head office with manufacturing, warehousing and distribution is based in Pinetown. We are BRC (Global British Retail Consortium) certified.

We have a vacancy for a **Facilities Supervisor**.

The successful incumbent will be expected to perform the following duties, not limited to:
**Facilities Scope**:
Responsible for the security, maintenance and services of work facilities to ensure that they meet the needs of the organisation and its employees.

**Facilities Duties**:

- Overseeing and agreeing on contracts and providers for services including security, alarm, forklifts, cleaning, waste, pest control, hygiene and so on
- Supervising multi-disciplinary teams of staff including cleaning, maintenance, grounds and security
- Inspection, maintenance and service of forklifts, High reach trucks, fleet, pallet jacks, aircons, scales etc.
- Ensuring that basic facilities, such as water and heating, are well-maintained
- Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness
- Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards
- Advising businesses on increasing energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Overseeing building projects, renovations or refurbishments
- Drafting reports and making written recommendations.

- The ability to lead and manage teams and projects

- Attention to detail but also the ability to see the implications for the bigger picture
- Commercial awareness

- Organisation, time management, prioritizing and the ability to handle a complex, varied workload
