We are a fast-growing lead generation business, specializing in sourcing off-market real estate and small businesses for sale. Our mission is to connect motivated sellers with buyers, driving value in the real estate and business acquisition market. We are looking for ambitious, self-driven Business Development Specialists based in South Africa to join our team.
**Job Description**:
As a Business Development Specialist, your primary role will be to connect with potential sellers of real estate and small businesses. You will be responsible for nurturing these relationships to generate leads and sales opportunities. While we provide leads and processes to follow, we encourage initiative and creativity to build upon these resources and expand our network of sellers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build relationships and engage potential sellers, uncovering their readiness to sell.
- Follow provided outreach processes, while also being encouraged to develop and execute new strategies for lead generation.
- Qualify leads based on established criteria and set appointments for our internal sales team.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of communication with all leads using our CRM system.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and improve outreach strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay informed about real estate and small business trends.
- Participate in regular team meetings and provide updates on progress and challenges.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to build rapport and trust quickly.
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a desire to exceed expectations.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Experience using CRM systems to track leads and communication is preferred.
- Understanding of the real estate or small business acquisition markets is a plus but not required.
- Access to high-speed internet and a professional home office setup.
