Senior Project Manager required in Stellenbosch - Hybrid, to project manage medium to large projects and programmes of a single customer, as well as provide support and guidance to the project coordinators and project managers in the PMO where and when necessary. 10+ years proven track record experience in project management of ICT projects and programmes and a Project Management Certification. **Responsibilities**
- Support and provide guidance to the project coordinators and project managers in the team, as well as lead from the front from a process and procedure perspective
- Continual improvement in the project management space - thinking outside of the box
- Co-ordinate and manage all project activities end-to-end
- Develop project plans that identify resource and budgetary needs
- Develop all required project artifacts per the process/methodology expectations
- Track delivery timescales and expected benefits
- Manage budgets - costs vs income; spend vs budget
- Booking, and managing the exact resources to be used to deliver the stage, whilst conforming to the overall project plan
- Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness
- Monitoring, and regular reporting on the overall progress against defined project scope
- Management and clear communication of risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies
- Provide feedback, advice, project updates and encouragement to team members
- Attend and run project meetings, achieving common understanding and accurate outcomes
- Co-ordinate tasks in teams
- Accurate progress reporting into the bigger programs where applicable
- Customer-specific requirements:

- Portfolio Management which will include Project Management of key initiatives
- Integration Management across projects
- Administration management across the various IT Managers
- Project Management Process and Governance setup
- Weekly reporting on Progress of projects
- Setup of Demand Management process
- Budget Management to have a clear view of committed vs spent vs budget

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12
- Project Management qualification or certification
- ICT-related qualification or certification (or equivalent work experience)
- 10+ years proven track record experience in project management of ICT projects and programmes
- Experienced at coordinating and managing all aspects of a portfolio of medium to large, complex, projects and programmes simultaneously
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to build sound business relationships
- Good written and spoken communications at all levels of business
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Organised approach to work, managing own and others workload
- Experienced at setting up meetings and keeping minutes
- Using Microsoft Project
- Use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Producing project progress reports
- Ability to follow defined guidelines and processes
- IT Service Management experience would be beneficial
- PRINCE2 or PMBOK (Practitioner Level)
- ITIL exposure and understanding
- ICT Technical background is essential
