**Administrator: Vacancy**

**Purpose**:
To provide business administrative support to the VFS Department including the coordination and implementation of Veritas Fire Systems activities and projects in line with the Veritas strategic objectives

**Location: Gauteng**

**Principal Accountabilities**:
**Responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following**:

- Operational Service Delivery
- Stakeholder Management
- Risk Management
- Execute on the approved service standards applicable to the VFS department that foster a customer centric environment.
- Support the implementation of VFS Division’s systems and structures that ensure delivery in line with the legislative framework and organisational objectives.
- Support company leadership and conduct administrative department activities for staff members as required.
- Receive office visitors and direct them to the appropriate parties.
- Coordinate schedules and manage calendars for multiple parties to ensure that activities are properly arranged with no conflicts.
- Make travel arrangements and prepare documents, presentation materials, and facilities for meetings.
- Enter and update company, employee, and client records as and when required.
- Conduct the ordering, storing, and distributing of office supplies.
- Maintain, repair, or replace office equipment as required.
- Direct, review, and optimise the VFS office to increase accuracy, productivity, and efficiency and reduce costs where applicable.
- Implement high quality VFS admin support services that span across the VFS value chain and service offering.
- Ensure accuracy of all information received and captured.
- Support the implementation of customised VFS initiatives and programmes aimed at optimising the VFS deliverables.
- Ensure the smooth running of the office and that all basic tools of trade are accessible for staff to complete their work

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the relevant Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience working with office technology and equipment.
- Proven track record providing basic administration services to a business department.
- Good relationships with stakeholders and an energetic approach to work.
- Detail and process orientated.
- Effective administration and organizing skills.
- Sound analytical capability.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work calmly under pressure.
- Gathering, presenting, and communicating information.

**Key requirements include**:

- Relevant Diploma in Business Administration or a related field. NQF 6 (NQF
- 3 Years’ relevant Administrator experience is required.
- 2 Years’ experience within a Fire Services, Engineering or technical environment is preferable.

**Remuneration**:

- **Market Related - Based on Experience (R 7 000 - R 9 000)**

Pay: R7,000.00 - R9,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sandton, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Administrator: 3 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)

License/Certification:

- Code 08 (required)
