**GENERAL PURPOSE**:
Responsible for the planning for the sourcing, procurement, tender briefing attendance & document delivery of all tender documents.

**Location**:Gauteng, Sandton

**Principal Accountabilities**:

- Responsible for the completion of Tenders
- Responsible for maintenance of tender report
- Responsible for co-ordinating pricing of tenders and record keeping of how costings were derived
- Responsible for the maintenance of compliance docs applicable to your division
- Responsible for Identifying Requirements, Mandatory Documents, Evaluation Criteria
- Delegating Tasks & Due Dates to necessary role players in the tender completion phase (where applicable)
- Maintaining electronic database of completed submitted tender documents
- Responsible for keeping sufficient certified supporting documents for tender submissions
- Co-ordinate the attendance of tender briefings
- Administrative support functions to the department; which include but are not limited to: requisitions, updating tender tracker with awards published, quotations, ISO maintenance in terms of the tender and compliance functions
- Monthly progress reporting to the Manager
- Implement a proactive approach including suggesting marketing initiatives to grow the business footprint in the public sector environment.
- Ensuring that weekly and monthly reports are sent out on time and on pre-agreed dates.
- Understanding of government procurement policies and requirements.

**Key Requirements Include**:

- 3 - 5 years’ experience in the Tendering process or Bid Department.
- Grade 12. (Matric)
- Relevant qualification. (Diploma or higher)
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Must have own vehicle and valid driver’s license.
- Must be proficient with MS Office.

**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: R20,000.00 - R22,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sandton, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

- Bachelors (required)

**Experience**:

- Tendering: 5 years (required)
