Applications are invited for a highly motivated **Procurement Manager** to join our Management team in the Northern Division covering the following areas**:Ventersdorp, Potchefstroom, Klerksdorp, Pretoria, Nelspruit**

**ROLE DESCRIPTION**: The Fleet Manager will be responsible for the sourcing, management, monitoring and maintenance of the vehicle fleet needed by the operational teams.

This position can be based at any one of our district offices in the above-mentioned towns but there will be regional travel required.

**Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to**:
**Leadership and management of the following functions**:

- Procurement and distribution of stock, equipment and materials based on the different Operational Plans, be able to provide projections for procurement, procurement itself, logistics, stock control, RMA, stock takes, and the maintaining of asset register
- The management of all tools such as hand tools, laptops, cell phone agreements and related hardware and the support thereof.
- Holding operations accountable for the responsible deployment of these items.
- As part of the Procurement echo system work with NSO on national Procurement programs and goals.

**Procurement Management**
- Ensure that Divisional tactics, targets, and projections regarding procurement matters are clearly understood and can be delivered on.
- Develop operational plans in conjunction with Team Leaders, in accordance with the business plan.
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet procurement related demands and ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure that Team Leaders lead operational teams into action to execute plans by establishing daily, weekly, and monthly routines as well as running projects and ad-hoc activities.
- Establish controls in the process to ensure speed, cost, quality and risk metrics are achieved.
- Facilitate effective and ongoing cross-functional alignment with all other functions through the formal management discipline of Herotel's Management Operating System as well as the implementation and management of partnership agreements.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.

**Leadership**
- Receive specific functional governance and guidance regarding policies, best practices and standards from NSO, but reports into the Operational Executive and the Level-3 Team.
- Lead and coach Level-2 Team Members to help them improve and to remain aligned to the tactical goals and culture of the business.
- Align the function with other divisions, functions and regions.
- Implement the MOS discipline in the procurement support function.

**Work Experience**:

- Minimum of 3 years in a management role in fleet or logistics.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a fleet or logistics department servicing a fleet of min 50 vehicles.
- Relevant experience in the Telecommunications industry will be beneficial.

**Qualifications**
- Grade 12
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Logistics
