Are you passionate about shaping the next generation's understanding of Afrikaans? Bright Young Minds Tuition Centre, located in Lambton, Germiston, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Part-Time Tutors to inspire and guide grade 3-12 students in Afrikaans.

**Who We Are**:
Established in 2015, Bright Young Minds (BYM) is renowned for its commitment to providing tailored, high-quality remedial education. Our programs cater to individual student needs, offering comprehensive support in numeracy and literacy from Grade R to Grade 12.

**Who We're Seeking**:
We're on the lookout for experienced educators or recent graduates who share our passion for creating personalised learning experiences in a nurturing environment.

**Your Responsibilities**:
As a tutor at BYM, you'll:

- Utilize BYM methodologies to teach Afrikaans at our Germiston centre.
- Conduct two to three classes per week, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere for learning.
- Embrace our software for lesson planning and delivery.
- Maintain a strong rapport with students and parents, providing regular progress updates and feedback.

**Your Qualifications**:
We're looking for individuals who possess:

- Must be first language Afrikaans and must have done well in Afrikaans First Language in Grade 12 (80% +)
- A friendly, professional demeanour, able to collaborate within a team or work independently.
- Proficiency with software and a strong commitment to reliability.
- An innate love for learning and teaching, coupled with excellent organisational skills.

**Available Class Times**:
Choose from a variety of class timings on Fridays and Saturdays to suit your schedule and availability.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 11 months

**Salary**: R900.00 - R3,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 2 - 6 per week

COVID-19 considerations:
Everyone must wear masks, classrooms are sanitised between sessions. Social distancing rules adhered to. Symptom screening for all before entering the Centre.
