**Requirements**:

- 5 years proven experience in a bakery or similar food production environment.
- Pastry qualification (advantageous)
- Excellent baking and pasty making skills, including the ability to develop and innovate steps
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising and training staff
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage production schedules and inventory effectively
- Knowledge of food safety and HACCP
- Familiar with industry trends and product developments
- **Must have own transport and valid license - non negotiable**

**This is a full time position, and the Head Baker must be willing to work flexible hours, including 4am morning starts, evenings and weekends to meet production schedules.**

**Education**:

- Certificate (preferred)
