We are seeking a detail orientated and proactive Operations Assistant to join our team. The Operations Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the Senior Franchise Operations Manager and the Operations team. The role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, including but not limited to administrative duties, basic procurement tasks, project coordination and effective communication with the various teams within the brand.

**Responsibilities**:
Administrative Support:

- Provide administrative support to the Operations team, including document preparation, maintaining organised records, and analysing data.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the operational policies and procedures.

Communication and collaboration:

- Work closely with the Operational team to understand their needs and specifications.
- Coordinate and communicate operational changes and updates to the relevant teams.
- Collaborate with the various departments to streamline procurement processes.

Inventory Management:

- Monitor inventory supply and collaborate with Procurement to ensure timeous restocking.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, enforcing quality standards and specifications.
- Cost Control:

- Analyze market trends, pricing, and product availability to ensure a competitive advantage.

Quality control:

- Work closely with the SFOM and Development chef to address any issues related to food and beverage quality, service standards and cleanliness.

Procedures and Standards Implementation:

- Assist in the implementation and enforcement of company policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a support role within the industry is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, market trends and supplier management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast -paced environment.

- Cape Town, Western Cape (required)
