THINK is a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by TB and HIV. As a health delivery and research organisation, THINK engages with the local community, government consortia, and international funders to provide care for over 100,000 people in KwaZulu-Natal and carry out cutting-edge clinical research that has already contributed to changing treatment guidelines internationally and locally.

THINK is looking for a qualified Linkage to Care Coordinator to support the implementation of the THINK USAID TB LON project in KwaZulu Natal Districts. The aim of the project is to safeguard advances of TB treatment by strengthening the TB healthcare platform in the district. The Linkage to Care Coordinator will be based in KwaZulu-Natal Province and report to the THINK TB Technical Lead

**Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Provide leadership and management to Linkage to Care project staff to achieve TB Linkage to care and TB Contact Management objectives
- Manage and monitor TB Linkage to care and Contact Management activities across the Programme
- Liaise with software development staff
- Strengthen linkage to care for patients by developing and supporting communication systems between hospitals, clinics, and outreach teams.
- Review linkage to care and contact management data on a weekly basis
- Provide monthly reports to Programme Managers and Department of Health on TB Linkage to Care and Contact Management
- Liaise with the DOH TB coordinator, facility staff, outreach teams and other community workers as required
- Train and mentor THINK and DOH staff of effective Linkage to care and Contact Management
- Contribute to the betterment of THINK
- Ensure THINK vision, mission and values are reflected in all job outcomes
- Perform other duties as required

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 - Matric Certificate
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in managing a team
- Microsoft Office expert with advanced Excel and Word skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presenting skills
- Self-motivated and independent worker who shows initiative
- Good report-writing skills
- Clear criminal record
- Valid Driver’s License

**Desirable**:

- Project Management or Health-related degree
- Experience in database development
- Previous work experience in NGOs or funded programmes will be an advantage.
