**Internal Sales Representative (JB3409)**
Alrode, Alberton
R7 000.00 to R10 000.00 a month
Duration: Permanent
A well-established Company that manufactures and distributes specialized Thermal and Electrical Insulation Materials is looking for an Internal Sales Representative to join their Team.

**Minimum Requirements**:
2 Years internal Sales Experience
Must be able to stick to deadlines
Must have interest to learn the skills needed
Needs to be assertive and ambitious
Product Knowledge
Communication Skills
Active Listening Skills
Time Management
Organizational
Problem Solving
Make sure that your work is correct and up to date to prevent unnecessary rework issues and delays in the system
Ensure that proper information is given through to your internal and external customer basis for accurate work processes to be followed

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Respond to customer requests for quotes within 2 to 3 hours.
Prepare and send accurate quotes to customers.
Maintain a clean and updated quote database.
Process sales orders promptly after receiving them.
Generate and print picking slips for store fulfilment.
Check stock availability with stores and invoice available stock.
Create backorders for out-of-stock items and arrange for ordering.
Process and generate invoices for completed orders.
Print and manage delivery notes for shipments.
Handle administrative tasks related to customer accounts.
Maintain accurate records of customer orders and interactions.
Monitor and manage backordered items.
Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely order fulfilment.
Regularly follow up on backorders and resolve outstanding issues.
Initiate works orders for items that need to be ordered.
Communicate with purchasing or ICM teams for order placement.
Keep track of works orders and update relevant contacts on their status.
Organize and maintain sales/works orders in the backorder file.
Regularly review and update backorder files.
Regularly review and clean out outdated quotes.
Ensure quotes are not outstanding for more than 3 months.
Follow up on completed quotes and obtain feedback on non-converted orders.
Document and keep records of customer interactions for evaluation purposes.
Prioritize breakdown orders, especially for top 20% customers.
Ensure excellent service for high-value clients.
Be willing to assist in other areas of the business as needed.
Engage in tasks beyond the scope of an internal sales representative.
