Peach Payments make online commerce and digital payment acceptance easier and more accessible across all Africa. Based in Cape Town, South Africa, but with offices in Mauritius and Kenya, we work with small and large sellers in all three countries to provide a complete toolkit to accept, manage and disburse payments through web and mobile.

Our merchant partners include your favorite food delivery services, whether you are ordering in or using a meal kit, travel services that can help you book your next getaway adventure and even your neighbor’s side-hustle e-commerce store. For these partners and their customers, we aim to provide delightful experiences that make it as easy as possible to facilitate online payments.

**Why we're hiring for this role**:
**Who you are**:

- 2 - 4 experience in customer/client-facing role, with a track record of top performance
- Ability to understand the Peach Payments API and build great relationships with customers with various levels of technical experience.
- Ability to understand the various offerings and requirements of Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, Magento and other e-commerce platforms and cart integrations.
- Familiarity using Sales CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Hubspot). Direct experience with HubSpot a bonus
- Comfort working with data in Excel to track KPIs and ROI.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with aggressive sales targets.
- Demonstrated passion for new technology businesses.
- Experience and comfort working with highly technical online products or services
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.

**What we would like you to do**:

- Support the SME team in their sales activities including lead qualification, quoting, lead development and closing
- Manage team KPI reporting and business analyst activities to optimise sales efficiency
- Own a book of business and meet sales targets
- Define and execute new sales strategies to effectively showcase Peach Payments
- Lead and contribute to team projects to develop and refine our sales process
- Support sales team members with training and skill development
- Engage with Product, Marketing and Operations teams to support customer research and support

We currently have a hybrid working model, which means that while our teams predominantly work outside of the office, we may ask them to join for in-office Meet-ups, gatherings, training and other collaboration sessions in-person, wherever possible.
