**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Fault finding and repairing of variable speed drives to minimise downtime of equipment
- On-site fault finding, repairs and commissioning to support and minimise disruption to production
- Ability to meet specified deadlines.

**Qualification required**:

- Grade 12 plus Trade test in Mechatronics/ Industrial Electronics.

**Experience required**:

- 2 years electrical / industrial electronics experience in a manufacturing environment

**Knowledge and skills required**:

- Ability to support other PLC's control systems, such as Omron, Allen Bradley, Delta, Lenze, Bosch Rexroth and Mitsubishi
- Able to do PLC programming and electrical diagrams.
- Work on PLC's (Omron, Delta, Mitsubishi and Siemens) including IPC based PLC program.
- Use, modify and improve the PLC software and electrical systems.
- Project Management activities
- Create and read logic and flow diagrams for program design, programming, simulation and testing, and start-up.
- Advice team on procuring electrical parts.
- Prepare circuit diagram and documentation on CAD based system
