Installing or repairing cranes or other lifting equipment such as electric hoists, chain blocks & lever hoists on site and in workshop
- Inspecting equipment to ensure it is in good working order as per required standards
- Performing regular maintenance and inspections of cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment and accessories
- Installing new cranes and other lifting equipment, including surveying work sites prior to installation
- Maintaining records of work performed on equipment in order to track service history and detect any potential problems before they occur
- Maintaining records of workplace safety in order to identify hazards and take corrective action
- Operating cranes or other lifting equipment when required
- Inspecting crane components for signs of wear or damage in order to identify possible causes of accidents
- Performing routine maintenance on cranes, including greasing bearings and replacing parts as needed
- Red Seal Electrician
- Willing to be groomed for a Lifting Machine Inspector
- 5 years + as a crane technician
- Knowledge of VSD and PLC programming
- Knowledge and ability to install load limiters
- Drivers Licence
- Able to travel.
- Able to work standby.
- Self-starter
- Excellent communication skills
- Medically fit to work on site
