Junior Bookkeeper and Office Manager

Overview

**Responsibilities**:
Duties and responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following,
- Full Bookkeeping function including, travel, payroll, statutory returns and payments including queries and audits, reconciliations and reports;
- Maintain detailed books, accounts, and records of the company and maintaining internal accounting controls and procedures;
- Monitoring all accounts and resolve queries;
- Maintaining accounting, payroll and other records;
- Compiling monthly management accounts;
- Compiling annual financial statements;
- Delegating, supervising, and reviewing responsibilities of subordinates;
- Maintain company policies and procedures as and when necessary;
- Responsible for organizing and coordinating day-to-day administration duties and office operations;
- Implementing and maintaining office operations, procedures and administrative systems;
- Record, manage and report daily business activities and workflow and make recommendations to management about all practices and procedures, along the guidelines and procedures established by the company and current regulations;
- Managing databases and filing systems;
- Compiling reports, presentations and applicable correspondence;
- Developing, analysing, and interpreting statistical and accounting information;
- Liaison with stakeholders;
- Office maintenance and management;
- Performing other duties assigned by management.

Education / Work Experience Requirements
- Accounting / bookkeeping qualification or in the process of completing the qualification.
- Minimum 3 years accounting experience.
- Supervisory experience essential.
- Experience working with tyres and medical devices highly advantageous.

Other Requirements
- Driver’s License.

Starting date: Available immediately.

Location: Fourways, Gauteng.

Starting salary: R8,000.00 pm
