Additionally, entrusted with the execution of regression tests, meticulous logging of defects, and systematic tracking of identified issues.

**Professional Duties**
- Collaborates with Business Analysts and Developers to analyze user stories, use cases, and requirements for validity and feasibility.
- Works closely with team members and various departments to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Takes ownership of creating and executing comprehensive test cases.
- Identifies and generates necessary test data for thorough testing.
- Detects and tracks software defects and inconsistencies in coordination with the project team.
- Scrutinizes test results and diligently logs test failures.
- Analyzes test failures and utilizes metrics for quality assessment.
- Collaborates with Business Analysts to influence and monitor User Acceptance Testing.
- Tracks and monitors errors and test results in collaboration with the project team.
- Assumes responsibilities that may require after-hours and weekend work to meet the needs of supported systems.
- Executes testing at all levels (System, Integration, and Regression).
- Applies quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle.
- Provides comprehensive support and documentation.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- A minimum of 3 years of dedicated experience as a Software Tester.
- Possesses a prerequisite testing certification, such as the ISTQB Foundation certificate.
- Demonstrates adeptness in handling multiple tasks concurrently.
- Previous hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Xray Test Repository.
- Proficient in various software testing methodologies (agile, waterfall, functional, and non-functional), encompassing test planning, test case development, and the execution of test cases.
- Skilled in developing test cases and test scenarios derived from use cases and/or requirements specifications.
- Exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
- Holds a comprehensive understanding of Quality Control and Quality Assurance concepts throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the Test Development Life Cycle (TDLC).
- Familiar with test metrics and their strategic utilization for decision support.
- Brings experience with Requirements Management, Test Management, and Defect Management Tools.

**Salary**: R360,000.00 - R420,000.00 per year
