Hotel Front Desk Supervisor

Our client in the Hospitality industry is currently looking for a **Hotel Front Desk Supervisor** in Sea Point, Cape Town.
**Responsibilities**:
- Supervise daily operations for exceptional guest experiences and high service standards.
- Provide outstanding customer care with a professional, courteous demeanour.
- Efficiently handle guest inquiries, complaints, and reservations.
- Utilize suggestive selling techniques for room bookings.
- Train and guide the front desk team, resolving issues for quality service.
- Resolve customer issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Adhere to company credit policies and allocate rooms based on preferences.
- Coordinate with other departments for seamless operations.
- Handle phone calls, wake-up calls, and messages professionally.
- Cross-check billing instructions for accuracy and manage group arrivals.
- Control cash transactions and maintain a personal bank.
- Assist in various duties assigned by management.
- Ensure safety and promptly report any suspicious activity.
- Assist all departments during busy periods and schedule shifts.
- Participate in forecast reporting, manage time and attendance accurately.
- Attend required meetings and maintain stock of front desk supplies.
- Supervise front desk team for efficient operations and excellent guest satisfaction.
- Provide technical support to front desk and housekeeping staff.
- Act as a role model, sharing expertise and inspiring front desk associates.
- Ensure diligent processing of hotel charges, accurate invoices, and verified billing instructions.
- Monitor Night Audit function for balanced hotel ledgers.
- Prioritize guest service as the top focus in handling complaints.
**Requirements**:
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience in handling cash and familiarity with financial procedures.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the Hospitality industry.
- Ability to handle difficult situations or guests with patience and professionalism.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding customer service goals or metrics.
**Salary**: R15,000.00 - R20,000.00 per month
**Experience**:
- Hospitality: 2 years (required)
Ability to Relocate:
- Sea Point, Western Cape: Relocate before starting work (required)
