Opportunity Available Our leading client in the Automotive Sector is looking to employ a Quality Technician to join their dynamic team in East London.
- Assist with daily production issues and monitoring
- Investigate and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Stopping manufacturing process when a failure is detected during Measurement/process audit or production run to minimize scrap
- Close out all audit findings within the stipulated time frames
- Monitor internal, supplier and customer corrective actions
- Handling of nonconforming material and raise supplier claims
- Handle supplier issues, Scrap analysis, conduct 8Ds with process owners
- Update quarantine register conduct correlations in measurement machines
- Customer relations: Communicate and attend to customer queries, issues and complaints

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum requirement - National Diploma in Industrial/Mechanical engineering
- At least 1 - 2 years relevant experience in Quality/Automotive with a proven track record
- Full knowledge on FMEA, Control Plans and G8D CAD Drawing
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Sound technical capabilities and understanding
- Sound knowledge of Quality Management systems: ISO9001 and IATF TS16949 standards
- Knowledge of Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) / Statistical Process Control (SPC) /
- Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
- Product / Process audits
- Internal PPM reporting and monitoring
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of quality management systems
- Ability to understand test specifications / drawings
