CNC Operator or Programmer

**Job description**:
Tramper Technology SA is looking for a young qualified individual to join our Somerset West, Western Cape team. We are a European original equipment manufacturer for packaging machinery originating from the south of the Netherlands. Tramper uses state-of-the-art equipment (Hermle 5-axis milling machines and Mazak lathes) to produce high-quality parts that continually challenge our production staff.

**Your responsibilities will include the following**:

- Program various parts of ranging difficulties using Inventor HSM and Mazatrol;
- Setup and run new and existing programs on the CNC machines using our Heidenhain and Mazatrol controls;
- Perform all necessary quality checks to ensure the best products for our clients that are according to specifications & tolerances;
- Plan effectively by studying job orders, work drawings, and materials to guarantee the best possible production time;
- Prepare tooling and materials well in advance;
- Do the required cleaning & maintenance of machinery, equipment, and work areas.

**Engineering knowledge**:

- Basic knowledge of CAD software (Inventor, Solidworks or similar programs);
- Ability to use inspection equipment properly;
- Professional proficiency in English;
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

**Minimum requirements**
- Relevant training in fitting and turning or milling.
- Drivers license with own transport.

**Offer**:

- Salary negotiable;
- 40 hours per week;
- 15 days annual leave.

- Somerset West, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Language**:

- Afrikaans and English (preferred)
