Sales Manager

**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**
Responsible for the effective management of regional sales team. Assist the National Sales and Marketing Executives, to grow existing business from strategic customers and increased sales and market share.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- 3 years of experience in FMCG sector.
- Leading, motivating, coaching and developing a sales team to deliver customer sales volumes and reach KPI targets
- Utilise sales team efficiently through effective sales call cycles, customer segmentation and customer geography through implementation of a sales strategy taking in consideration customer sales turnovers
- Develop trusted relationships with a portfolio of customers
- Acquire a deep understanding of customer needs and requirements
- Continuously proposing solutions that meet the objectives of customers
- Serve as the link of communication between customers and internal teams
- Resolving any issues and problems, and dealing with complaints
- Preparing progress reports and forecast sales
- Creating, interpreting and presenting key account KPIs for sales team
- Generate new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
- Executing marketing initiative with customers
- Recruit and retain a pipeline of sales representatives, in line with business strategy
- Logistical planning with the National Operations Manager to ensure customer service and sales are optimised.
- Identify new business opportunities
- Understand industry trends
- Adapt sales strategies to latest industry trends
**REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE**
- Tertiary qualification diploma or degree in Sales and/or Marketing
- Minimum 5 years solid Sales Management experience
- Must have a real passion for excellent customer service
- Results driven, motivated self-starter who can work independently in a demanding environment
- Leadership and motivational skills
- Excellent communication skills on all levels
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft office
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: R35 000,00 - R40 000,00 per month
