**Job Advert Summary**:
The role will be responsible to implement, build deployments, perform database administration and configuration management. Accountable to handle code deployments in all PPS environments effectively within the Development and Operations.

The incumbent will be required to work closely with various teams, provide, support, deploy build/s, maintain, and monitor configuration standards across PPS environments

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Education**:

- BTech/Diploma in Information Technology/Systems or Computer Science, engineering, software engineering or Equivalent
- ITIL Foundation
- Microsoft or Linux Certification or years of experience

**Experience**:

- Minimum 2-3 years’ previous experience in software deployments, development and operations, or related IT, computer, or operations
- 2+ years IT operation with strong understanding of database administration and structures,
- 2+ years in Microsoft and Linux Server environment.
- Solid previous experience with software development, infrastructure development, or development and operations
- Experience with Microsoft and Linux infrastructure, database SQL (MS SQL), CI/CD tools, scripting such as JavaScript, PHP, Python, Perl, Ruby,.NET, Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, Agile workflow methodologies,
- Docker - Software Containerization Platform,
- GitLab with Windows and Linux servers, and security delegation
- VMWare experience, a plus

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Set up and document operational procedures (maintenance, user administration, server standards etc.).
- Monitor and enforce the usage of the process and
- Implements departmental and industry best-practices security
- Mitigate the risk to ensure mínimal downtime and system availability by ensuring best support practices are in place.
- Provide after-hour standby and
- Deployments migration and
- Handle code deployments in all PPS environments.
- Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve development delivery.
- Consult with peers for feedback during testing stages.
- Maintain day-to-day management and administration of projects.
- Develop and maintain vendor extract / import process
- Manage CI and CD tools with team and collaborating with other teams to plan and create workflow processes, develop automation procedures, deploy updates.
- Follow change management process and
- Document and design various processes; update existing processes.
- Perform technical, analytical and professional services involving program/member services, evaluation.
- Integrate old systems data with new
- Test and coordinate
- Troubleshoot and correct issues as they
- Ensure system is running
- Add new users to the system as
- Plan and coordinate security measures alongside network
- Implement and administer of in-house developed and vendor
