Customer Retention Consultant

**Job Advert Summary**:
We are looking for a dynamic retention officer/ specialist to work with customers, employees, and marketers to increase brand loyalty and revenue. In this role, you will deal directly with our customers to find out what issues they are facing, how we may improve our products or services, and how to retain their business.
To be successful as a retention specialist, you should have a persuasive attitude, excellent customer relationship skills, and a passion for sales. Ultimately, a top-class retention specialist can improve sales by creating lasting bonds with customers.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, sales, marketing, or related field (_prefferable_).
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
- Excellent customer service skills.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Communicating with customers and sales representatives regarding our product/service on a regular basis.
- Gathering information about customer complaints and proposing solutions thereto.
- Analyzing customer feedback to develop new strategies to ensure customer retention.
- Negotiating with customers to renew business development contracts and retain business.
- Working with Sales Managers in implementing sales promotion activities and initiatives.
- Reporting to Management on customer behavior and trends.
- Building positive relationships with customers and business associates.
- Collecting and tracking data about customer service trends.
- Recording and responding to customer complaints.
- Checking and ensuring that products are operating and in a working condition before distribution.
